On October 27, 2021, the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure ordered reported the following bills:
H.R. 246, a bill to designate the federal building and United States courthouse located at 180 West Main Street in Abingdon, Virginia, as the “H. Emory Widener, Jr., Federal Building and United States Courthouse;” and
H.R. 4771, a bill to designate the federal building and United States courthouse located at 111 North Adams Street in Tallahassee, Florida, as the “Joseph Woodrow Hatchett United States Courthouse and Federal Building.”
CBO estimates that enacting those bills would have no significant effect on the federal budget.
