H.R. 785 would modify the membership of the Geriatrics and Gerontology Advisory Committee in the Department of Veterans Affairs by requiring that the committee include at least one person with experience serving veterans in a state veterans’ home and at least one person who holds a professional license in nursing home administration.
That modification of membership requirements would not change the number of members or alter the duties of the advisory committee. Thus, CBO estimates that implementing the additional membership qualifications in the bill would not affect the federal budget.
