H.R. 7256 would require the Administration to determine and certify to the Congress—within 30 days of enactment—whether South Africa has undermined U.S. national security or foreign policy interests. The bill also would require the Administration to comprehensively review the bilateral relationship between the United States and South Africa and report to the Congress on its findings within 120 days of enactment.
