Divisions A through F would provide discretionary appropriations and authorities for the remainder of fiscal year 2024 for the agencies covered by the 6 of the 12 annual appropriation acts. Estimates for those divisions are summarized in Table 1.
Division G would extend specified immigration programs and reclassify the budgetary treatment of some of the fees collected by the Transportation Security Administration. CBO’s estimates of the budgetary effects of division G are summarized in Table 2. In keeping with title IV of division G, and at the direction of the House and Senate Budget Committees, that division is considered authorizing legislation and its budgetary effects are subject to pay-as-you-go procedures.
