The bill would codify the responsibilities of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in producing government-wide policies for the safe and secure adoption of AI technology. The bill also would require agency inspectors general and the Government Accountability Office to report to the Congress every two years after enactment on the effectiveness of those efforts.
