On January 31, 2024, the Subcommittee on Health of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce convened a hearing at which Chapin White, the Congressional Budget Office’s Director of Health Analysis, testified about federal subsidies for health insurance and policies to reduce the prices paid by commercial insurers.
