Division A would provide continuation, through November 17, 2023, of certain appropriations and authorities contained in divisions A through M of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023. Estimates are annualized—that is, estimated as if appropriations were provided for the entire fiscal year.
Division B would extend various provisions and authorities. Title I would extend certain authorities and programs of the Department of the Interior, which CBO estimates would have negligible effects on the budget relative to baseline projections. CBO’s estimate of the budgetary effects of title II and title III are summarized in Table 2. In keeping with title IV of division B, that division is considered authorization legislation.
