S. 736 would redesignate the Chiricahua National Monument in Arizona as Chiricahua National Park. The boundaries of the area would remain the same. Using information from the National Park Service, CBO expects that the funding for the area would remain the same. CBO estimates that the cost to revise federal maps and signs to reflect the new name would be insignificant. Any spending would be subject to the availability of appropriated funds.
