S. 2367 would authorize the Department of the Interior to acquire up to 20 acres of land in Maryland to accommodate additional needs of the National Park Service’s Historic Preservation Center. The bill would authorize the appropriation of such sums necessary to acquire the land, which could also be acquired by donation or transfer from a willing owner. CBO estimates that enacting S. 2367 would not affect direct spending or revenues. CBO has not estimated the discretionary costs of implementing the bill. The bill contains no intergovernmental or private-sector mandates as defined in the Unfunded Mandates Reform Act.
