Cost Estimate
As ordered reported by the House Committee on Natural Resources on September 18, 2019
H.R. 2490 would require the National Park Service (NPS) to examine the feasibility of designating the Chief Standing Bear Trail in the states of Nebraska and Oklahoma as a national historic trail. Using information from the NPS, CBO estimates that enacting H.R. 2490 would cost less than $500,000 over the 2019-2024 period. Such spending would be subject to the availability of appropriated funds.
