The Congressional Budget Office will release its annual Budget and Economic Outlook on Monday, January 26. The report will be available on CBO's website at 2:00 p.m. The report will include updated economic and budget projections spanning the period from 2015 to 2025. CBO’s most recent economic and budget projections can be found in An Update to the Budget and Economic Outlook: 2014 to 2024, which was released last August.
There will be a press briefing following the release for credentialed press only from 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. CBO Director Douglas W. Elmendorf will make brief remarks and answer questions about the report.
- Media must register by 5:30 p.m. on Friday, January 23 and bring valid photo identification for entry.
- News organizations sending cameras should plan to arrive for set-up no later than 1:30 p.m. the day of the briefing.
