CBO is saddened by the unexpected death of Senator Lindsey Graham. We had the privilege of working closely with Senator Graham during his service as Chairman of the Senate Budget Committee (a position he had held since January 2025) and when he was the committee's Ranking Member. We appreciated his support, enthusiasm, and thoughtful guidance. We extend our sincere condolences to his family.
