H.R. 5201 would direct the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to report on its enforcement of section 721 of the Communications Act of 1934, or Kari’s Law. That law requires manufacturers and sellers of multi-line telephone systems to preconfigure such systems to allow direct dialing of 9-1-1.
