In a report released in January 2023, the Congressional Budget Office analyzed the hypersonic weapons being developed by the U.S. military and compared them with less expensive existing or potential weapons that might fill similar roles, such as ballistic missiles or cruise missiles. This presentation summarizes the findings of that report.
