This presentation provides an overview of CBO’s work on the effects of climate change and climate change policy on the economy and the federal budget. The presentation explains the agency’s estimate of the effects of climate change on economic output. It also provides an estimate of the revenue that could be raised from a tax on greenhouse gas emissions.
