H.R. 2374 would require the Department of State to report to the Congress on whether the school curriculum in Gaza and in areas controlled by the Palestinian Authority encourages intolerance or violence against other countries or ethnic groups. The department also would be required to report on:
• The Palestinian Authority’s actions to reform such curriculum;
• The department’s efforts to encourage peace and tolerance in Palestinian education; and
• The use of U.S. foreign assistance to prepare, disseminate, and reform the curriculum.
