The Congressional Budget Office will publish An Analysis of the Discretionary Spending Proposals in the President’s 2023 Budget on Friday, July 1, at 11 a.m. (EDT). The agency will publish a more comprehensive analysis of the President's budget request, including some proposals that affect mandatory spending and revenues, in mid-September. Because of other pressing work for the Congress, CBO is not able to complete the full analysis by early July.

On July 27 at 2 p.m. (EDT), CBO will publish The 2022 Long-Term Budget Outlook. The report will provide projections of federal spending, revenues, deficits, and debt for the next 30 years.

Deborah Kilroe is CBO's Director of Communications.
