S. 490 would designate a mountain ridge in the Gallatin National Forest in Montana as
B-47 Ridge and would permit the installation of a plaque that memorializes the crash of a U.S. Air Force B-47 aircraft at the site. The bill would prohibit the use of federal funds to design, install, or maintain the plaque.
CBO estimates that enacting S. 490 would have no significant effect on spending subject to appropriation.
