I have been both honored and thrilled to be the director of the Congressional Budget Office over the past four years. The office has an excellent, well-deserved reputation for the quality of its work and its commitment to independent, objective, and nonpartisan analysis. I believe we’ve only enhanced CBO’s reputation during my time here, and I am very proud of what we have accomplished together.
What makes CBO so successful is its staff. They are truly exceptional and uncommonly committed. Because of this, I am confident that CBO will continue to provide the Congress with timely and objective analytical support as it grapples with the important issues facing the nation.
