CBO plans to release its updated 10-year baseline projections of federal spending, revenues, and budget deficits on Friday, March 6. The projections reflect new information obtained since The Budget and Economic Outlook: 2015 to 2025 was issued in January and will be available on CBO’s website at 11:00 a.m. The report will include updated estimates of the budgetary effects of the insurance coverage provisions of the Affordable Care Act. (Those estimates are incorporated in the agency’s new baseline projections; CBO’s most recent projections of the effects of that legislation were released in January.)

In addition, each year, CBO works together with the staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation to estimate the budgetary effects of the changes to spending programs and the tax code that were proposed in the President’s budget. That analysis of the budget outlook under the President’s proposals will be available on CBO’s website mid-to-late next week.
