In June, CBO’s director testified before the House Financial Services Committee about CBO’s estimates of the cost of the credit programs of the Export-Import Bank. This document provides CBO’s answers to questions for the record.
On June 25, 2014, the House Committee on Financial Services convened a hearing at which CBO’s director, Douglas W. Elmendorf, testified about the agency’s estimates of the cost of the credit programs of the Export-Import Bank, which were presented in CBO’s report Fair-Value Estimates of the Cost of Selected Federal Credit Programs for 2015 to 2024. A Member of the Committee submitted further questions for the record, and this document provides CBO’s answers.
