The Congressional Budget Office will publish The Budget and Economic Outlook: 2022 to 2032 at 2:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, May 25. The report will include updated budget and economic projections. CBO's most recent budget and economic projections were published in July 2021.
A press briefing for credentialed members of the press will be held from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. that day. CBO's Director, Phillip Swagel, will make brief remarks and then answer questions about the report. More information about the briefing will soon be available on CBO's press page.
As an earlier blog post noted, CBO will also publish its analysis of the President's budget request by early July. Then, sometime in July, the agency will publish its recurring report on the long-term budget outlook. Once it is known, the precise schedule for those reports will be announced on CBO's website.
