CBO will release its annual Budget and Economic Outlook on Monday, April 9, after the Congress returns from its spring recess. The report will be available on CBO’s website at 2:00 p.m. ET. It will include updated economic and budget projections spanning the period from 2018 to 2028. CBO’s most recent economic and budget projections can be found in An Update to the Budget and Economic Outlook: 2017 to 2017, which was released last June. As CBO recently announced, the release of this year’s annual report has been delayed in order to incorporate the effects of recently enacted major legislation.
A press briefing will be held following the release for credentialed press only from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. CBO Director Keith Hall will make brief remarks and then answer questions about the report. More information about the briefing may be found on the press page.
