Because weather conditions have led the federal government in Washington, DC, to close today, CBO will delay the release of its updated 10-year baseline projections of federal spending, revenues, and budget deficits until Monday, March 9. The projections reflect new information obtained since The Budget and Economic Outlook: 2015 to 2025 was issued in January and will be available on CBO’s website at 11:00 a.m. The report will include updated estimates of the budgetary effects of the insurance coverage provisions of the Affordable Care Act. (Those estimates are incorporated in the agency’s new baseline projections; CBO’s most recent projections of the effects of that legislation were released in January.)
