H.R. 3452, Wasatch Range Recreation Access Enhancement Act

cost estimate

April 9, 2012

read complete document  (pdf, 18 kb)

As ordered reported by the House Committee on Natural Resources on February
29, 2012

H.R. 3452 would direct the Secretary of Agriculture to sell 30 acres of National Forest System land to a private entity. The land would be sold at fair market value and used to
construct a tramway that would connect two ski resorts in Utah. Based on information provided by the Forest Service regarding the value of the affected lands, CBO estimates that implementing the legislation would increase offsetting receipts by less than $500,000; therefore, pay-as-you-go procedures apply. Enacting the bill would not affect revenues.

H.R. 3452 contains no intergovernmental or private-sector mandates as defined in the Unfunded Mandates Reform Act and would impose no costs on state, local, or tribal governments.
