The Statutory Pay-As-You-Go Act of 2010 establishes budget reporting and enforcement procedures for legislation affecting direct spending or revenues. Those changes are often referred to as "PAYGO" effects. This page presents a listing of the stand-alone PAYGO tables that CBO has issued for some versions of legislation--generally for bills being considered on the floor of the House of Representatives or the Senate.
All CBO cost estimates contain a statement about whether pay-as-you-go procedures apply to a particular piece of legislation. In such cases, if a bill has PAYGO effects, those are included in the full cost estimate for a particular piece of legislation. If you do not see the table you are looking for on this page, please see our full CBO Cost Estimates section.
