The Congressional Budget Office will release its annual Budget and Economic Outlook on Tuesday, February 4. The report will be available on CBO’s website at 10:00 a.m. The report will include updated economic and budget projections spanning the period from 2014 to 2024.
CBO’s most recent economic projections can be found in The Budget and Economic Outlook: Fiscal Years 2013-2023, which was released in February 2013. CBO’s most recent budget projections can be found in Updated Budget Projections: Fiscal Years 2013 to 2023, which was released in May 2013.
There will be a press briefing following the release for credentialed press only from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. CBO Director Douglas W. Elmendorf will make brief remarks and answer questions about the report.
- Media must register by 5:30 p.m. on Monday, February 3 and bring valid photo identification for entry.
- News organizations sending cameras should plan to arrive for set-up no later than 9:30 a.m. the day of the briefing.
