The Congressional Budget Office will release its annual Long-Term Budget Outlook on Tuesday, September 17. The report will be available on CBO’s website at 10:00 a.m. CBO’s most recent long-term budget projections were released in June 2012.
There will be a press briefing following the release for credentialed press only from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. CBO Director Douglas W. Elmendorf will make brief remarks and answer questions about the report.
- Media must register by 5:30 p.m. on Monday, September 16 and bring valid photo identification for entry.
- News organizations sending cameras should plan to arrive for set-up no later than 9:30 a.m. the day of the briefing.
